Do it yourself III: Listen to Stone Age Sounds

Workshops with Kids

What do you hear when you close your eyes? Are you in a flat? Then you might hear children laughing, a coffee machine bubbling, a television running, or a car driving by.

Imagine what Ötzi may have heard. He didn’t know how a helicopter flies or a mobile phone rings. But he knew many other sounds. You know some of them too: leaves rustling when you walk through a summer forest, how a stream gurgles, or how a fire crackles. But have you ever heard a real bear growl? Join us on a sound journey through Ötzi’s time and listen to stone age sounds!

Fun, Games, and Education
Learn fun things about Ötzi and the museum and get creative with your children! Listen to sounds of the Stone Age, perform a shadow play, or make Ötzi’s hat. Not only will children and adults get crafting ideas, but both young and old will be able to learn impressive things about the Iceman once a month.
