How much do tours for school classes cost?
The costs for guided tours for school groups are:
€4.00 for the tour + €3.00 for admission = €7.00 per student.
For groups of up to 15 schoolchildren, 1 teacher has free admission; additional chaperones pay €10.00 per person.
For groups of 16 or more schoolchildren, 2 teachers per group have free admission.
Do school children with disabilities have free admission?
No, schoolchildren with disabilities pay the same amount as other children. However, people accompanying them receive free admission.
How much do the workshops cost?
The costs for the workshops are:
€6.00 for the workshop + €3.00 for admission = €9.00 per student.
For groups of up to 15 schoolchildren, 1 teacher has free admission; additional chaperones pay €10.00 per person.
For groups of 16 or more schoolchildren, 2 teachers per group have free admission.
Can I reserve audio guides in advance?
No, an additional guided tour is not necessary. The workshop already includes an introduction to the exhibition, making a separate guided tour unnecessary and doubling the cost.
Is a guided tour necessary if you do a workshop?
No, it is not necessary. The workshop already includes an introduction in the exhibition rooms before the activity, so a guided tour would be superfluous, resulting in a double cost for the same content.
Which payment methods are accepted?
Payments are possible via:
Invoice: To do this, the billing details (name of the school, tax number, recipient codex (“codice univoco”), CIG code (“Codice Identificativo Gara”)) must be submitted in advance. Note: We do not contact school secretaries directly.
Payment by cash or card (debit / credit card) directly at the museum ticket office.
Can I pay in cash and then receive an invoice?
No, for card or cash payments only a payment receipt will be issued (not valid for tax purposes). It is not possible to issue an invoice retroactively. Anyone who requires an invoice must pay the amount as part of an invoice. In any case the group must stop by the ticket desk.
Is a reservation required?
Yes, reservations are mandatory for groups.
Do reservations give you priority in queues?
Yes, groups with reservations do not need to wait in queues.
Our bus is stuck in traffic / our train is delayed, and we will not arrive on time. What do we do now?
Please provide us with a mobile phone number in advance where we can reach you while you are on the move. In case of delays, please notify us immediately so the reservation office can check if your guided tour can be rebooked. If no other tours are available, only admission may be granted depending on availability. In any case, the tour must still be paid for.
