Information on the processing of personal data – candidates

Pursuant to Art. 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and the recommendation regarding certain minimum requirements for the online collection of personal data in the EU

Dear candidate,
hereby, the Provincial Museums Company acting through the South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology, as Data Controller, wishes to inform you that the personal data you provide will be processed in accordance with the principles established by Regulation (EU) 2016/679: lawfulness, correctness and transparency.

Purpose of processing
Your data is processed by the Data Controller exclusively for personnel selection purposes. For this purpose, the provision of data is necessary and failure to provide it will consequently make it impossible to follow up on your application.

Legal basis of processing
The legal basis of processing, pursuant to art. 6 paragraph 1 letter b) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, is the performance of a contract to which the interested party is a party or the performance of pre-contractual measures.

Categories of personal data
The Data Controller will mainly process your personal data of a common nature (art.4 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679), i.e. of an identifying and contact nature.
In accordance with the provisions of art. 9 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, for the sole purpose of assessing the adequacy of your professional profile, (where applicable) the processing of special categories of personal data (such as, for example, those relating to your state of health or membership of the so-called protected categories) is necessary to fulfill the obligations and exercise the specific rights of the Data Controller or the interested party in the field of labor law and social security and social protection.

Communication of personal data
The Data Controller will carry out the personnel selection procedures by internal staff, as well as in collaboration with other external parties appointed as Data Processors (pursuant to art. 28 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679). The communication of your data to third parties for the purposes indicated above is necessary and failure to provide them will make it impossible to follow up on the selection procedure.

Transfer of data
Your data will not be transferred or communicated in any way to third countries outside the European Union. Your data will not be included in automated decision-making processes.

Period of retention of personal data
Since your data may also be used for future hiring, the data you provide will be retained for the time necessary to carry out the selection procedure and in any case for a period not exceeding 2 years.

Method of processing
We inform you that your data will be processed with the support of paper and electronic means. The Data Controller adopts appropriate technical and organizational security measures in order to provide protection and safeguard to the personal data being processed.

Rights of the interested party (articles 15-22 Regulation (EU) 20167679)
According to the legislation in force, the interested party obtains at any time, upon request, access to his/her data; if he/she considers them inaccurate or incomplete, he/she can request their rectification and integration respectively; if the legal conditions are met, he/she can oppose their processing, request their cancellation or the limitation of their processing. In the latter case, excluding storage, the personal data, subject to limitation of their processing, can be processed only with the consent of the applicant, for the judicial exercise of a right of the owner, for the protection of the rights of a third party or for reasons of significant public interest.
