Südtiroler Archäologiemuseum
following the footsteps of mesolithic hunter-gatherers
The journey into the past begins at Gardena Pass, exploring the Mesolithic campsites of Abri Plan de Frea, Plan de Gralba, and Tramans. Through these archaeological sites, the daily lives of Middle Stone Age high-mountain hunters come vividly to life. During the excursion, participants will have the opportunity to engage directly with Stone Age materials and try out prehistoric techniques for themselves.
