Something new to discover at the South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology

 

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Ötzi’s discovery the museum has renovated some areas of the permanent exhibition and opened the special exhibition “Stone Age Connections – Mobility at Ötzi’s Time”.

Sunday may 15, 2022 the International Museum Day, is an occasion for visitors to get familiar with the new themes and archaeological finds on display. There are also interactive stations to try out and a stand with materials used in the Copper Age for children.

In the special exhibition “Stone Age Connections. Mobility at Ötzi’s Time” we will also be offering short 30 min guided tours for free (in Italian and German). For more information and reservations, please visit the ticket desk. Entry is free.
