Ötzi runs after his prey without looking where he’s going. Splash! Now he’s sitting in a pond and he’s wet through! “I didn’t notice the pond! It was hidden by the tall grass!” While hunting stags Ötzi finds himself in a small birch wood. “I’ve always liked these trees with the white trunks!” “These sparkling stones are strange! I’m going to pick them up … I’ve heard that you can do all sorts of wonderful things with them!” “Oh, what a shame! The bark of this tree is peeling off. The pieces are hanging by a few threads … Just a minute, I’ve got an idea!” Whoa! A wild bear is coming out of a cave! Ötzi runs away so that the bear can’t hurt him Ötzi hasn’t hunted anything today! Luckily, goats and sheep are grazing in his village, so he doesn’t have to go to bed hungry. “Brrr! It’s freezing!
